Raising Awareness of Foster Care

The Challenge

Currently there seems to be a lack of interest and/or awareness in foster caring. We'd like to use Mindhive to gather an ecosystem of those interested in foster caring either as researchers, consultants, companies, NFP's, media, service delivery, communications and marketing and all other fields interested in this important social issue. We are also interested in young people being involved in this process, and gauging their views on this issue.

We have a significant role in solving the problem, but more importantly government, business and wider society has a role in solving this problem. If you know of someone who is not currently in Mindhive interested in foster caring, please share this invitation with them.

We believe that the creation of this ecosystem can contribute toward understanding and addressing an issue that will create greater stability and positive outcomes for vulnerable children at risk.

The context

Stretch A Family is using the MindHive process to broaden the discussion with expertise across the hive to help disrupt our thinking on the challenge. We believe that by collaborating collectively in a network of interest that we are better able to understand and become aware of the challenges needing to be solved in the foster care field.
